Airport
✔️ There are taxis and Uber available at the Querétaro airport, and both taxi and Uber are easy options for transportation. Uber works using the same app we use in the United States, and they also accept cash (in pesos). Taxis can be paid for at a kiosk inside the airport.
✔️ The Querétaro airport is small and very easy to get in and out of.
✔️ There are some direct flights from the U.S. to Querétaro, as well as flights with layovers within Mexico, including connections through Monterrey, Mexico City, and other major airports across the country.

Hacienda Laborcilla

A perfect spot for an elegant date night, with excellent food, beautiful design, and a sophisticated atmosphere. The interiors are just as memorable as the menu!
Cervecería Hércules

A local brewery set in a historic textile factory. Enjoy a wide selection of beers, great food, live music, and dance nights on select days.
La Grupa

One of our favorite rooftop spots for any occasion—from morning coffee and casual bites to dinner or a nightcap in the wine room. With indoor and outdoor seating, it’s the perfect place to relax and enjoy good company.
Wicklow
🚶 : 4 minutes walk
A fun, casual Irish bar with a special place in Cindy’s college days. Pizza and beer were always a favorite here, and it’s still a great spot to hang out, have a drink, and enjoy a lively, energetic atmosphere.

Home to Jack’s favorite wood-fired pizza in town, with a great selection of Italian wines to pair with it.
1800 Restaurant

A great spot to eat by the plaza. Their Sunday breakfast buffet is a great value and a delicious introduction to local Mexican cuisine.
Maniática Centro Histórico

A great rooftop spot for breakfast and coffee. They also have second-floor seating if you’d rather skip the stairs. Ask for a terrace table if available!
Indigenous Artesanal Development Centre
🚶 : 6 minutes walk
Mercado de Artesanías brings together local and Indigenous artisans in one place. Meet the makers, discover their craft, and purchase directly from them. You’ll also find many artisans on the streets on weekends. Bring cash!
Take a Stroll
🚶 : 20 minutes walk
If you feel like exploring, stroll along 5 de Mayo, 16 de Septiembre, Francisco I. Madero, Plaza de Armas, and Jardín Zenea. For a longer walk, go from Jardín Guerrero to El Convento de la Cruz—you’ll discover hidden shops, bars, cafés, and restaurants along the way.
"Andador Libertad" Libertad Promenade
🚶 : 6 minutes walk
Be sure to visit Andador Libertad on Saturday or Sunday. This charming street is filled with art, museums, shops, and local artists. Jack and Cindy have collected pieces here on nearly every visit. Keep exploring the surrounding walkways, where local vendors offer beautiful handcrafted pieces, including .925 silver jewelry. Bring cash!
